Are you ready to step into the colorful world of Japanese summer tradition with our Yukata Summer Experience Workshop? Whether you’ve already booked your spot or are still thinking about joining, here’s everything you need to know to get ready—and why this event is truly one-of-a-kind.

What to Prepare Before the Workshop
1. Comfortable Undergarments We recommend wearing a plain tank top or light T-shirt and shorts or leggings. These will go under your yukata and help with the dressing process. Avoid bulky or dark-colored clothes.
2. Hair Ties or Pins (Optional) If you have long hair, you might want to bring a hair tie or pin. We’ll provide kanzashi (traditional hair accessories) for styling, but having your own essentials is helpful too.
3. A Small Towel Although we’ll provide two towels for the proper fit of your Yukata, bringing an extra one never hurts.
4. Comfortable Sandals or Slip-ons We provide all yukata accessories, but if you prefer walking in your own footwear, bring simple sandals or flat shoes suitable for summer walking.
5. A Camera or Fully Charged Phone We’ve created photo-ready corners with beautiful backdrops just for you. Capture the moment in your stunning Yukata!
What Makes This Workshop Unique?
1. Deep Cultural Immersion You’re not just wearing a yukata—you’re learning its history, etiquette, and meaning. From traditional tying styles to understanding Japanese seasonal customs, every part of the experience is designed to teach and inspire.
2. Guided by Passionate Experts Led by Nozomi, a kimono culture ambassador, and Imene, our art director and marketing lead, you’ll receive personalized, bilingual support every step of the way. Whether you speak English, Japanese, or French, you’ll feel at ease.
3. A Creative Fusion of Old and New We call it “Yamato Kimono Remix” because we bring fresh energy to this tradition. The second day includes our special Remix Session where you’ll get creative with your Yukata look—mixing accessories, experimenting with obi styles, and exploring your own cultural flair.
4. All-Inclusive Comfort From snacks and transportation to hands-on lessons and an official certificate—you’re fully taken care of. And did we mention lunch on day 2 is at a Japanese izakaya?
5. Intimate Group Experience With a max of 10 participants, you’ll enjoy focused attention, personal guidance, and the chance to connect with fellow culture-lovers.
Spots are limited—don’t miss your chance to experience a summer tradition like never before.
